T.G.I.Friday’s Brings Tastes of America

T.G.I.Friday’s is giving us another reason to celebrate as they bring us the tastes of America! Laid out with amazing flavors we all loved, Tastes of America is surely the way to capture our patriotic Filipino hearts.

Start off your meal with the scrumptious Southwest Shrimp Salad made from the freshest ingredients to ensure that yummy crunch in every bite. Next, taste the sunny flavors of Florida with the Miami Cubano Chicken Stack followed by Kansas Mashed Potato and you’ll definitely see the yellow brick road to paradise. You can also have the juicy crowd favorite Chicago Braised Pork Belly and get some of that real Chicago flair in your mouth. Top off your dish of choice with either Chili Pineapple or Apple Cucumber mojito and you’ll feel like its Friday on any day of the week.

Whatever your choice is, T.G.I.Friday’s will make sure that you’ll get a taste of America in every bite.

FOOD NEWS: "Boiling Bags" from Clawdaddy

We have previously featured the All American restaurant CLAWDADDY here in fud fyt, but in celebration of 4th of July or the United States Independence Day, they also launched something new on their menu called "BOILING BAGS" or Seafood Boils! Depends on how you put it, it is actually a big bag of seafood surprizes that is perfect for family reunions or friends food trip.


Clawdaddy has branches in Bonifacio High Street, Shangri La Plaza and Nuvali. They serve a wide variety of dishes either it may be Surf, Turf or both. 

But first we also take a bite on their appetizers like the buffalo wings, salad and their  ball park nachos. The Salad goes great with people conscious with figure and weight.  Buffalo wings are very juicy that also Great appetizers to start before going to the main dish of seafood overload. For big groups, the ball park nachos is so far the best way to start while waiting for the main dish.

FOOD STOPS: Old Vine Grille


Under the chain of fine dinning restaurants like Uncle Cheffy's, Chef's Quartier and many more, Old Vine Grille is another one of a kind restaurant with a ambiance and food both amazing yet at a reasonable price. Located at Eastwood Mall, the reatuarant looks like a wide wine cellar with vines crawling gving it a feel of a country dinning.

FOOD STOPS: Bon Chon Chicken

The best chicken in America (as per the New York Times, GQ, and Esquire) -- now in Manila!


This made me interested to try BON CHON chicken now growing in number of stores and patrons Originally from the US but with a unique flavor made from Korea makes it a great east meets west inspiration and the product is a one of its kind.  On a fun afternoon food bloggers went to Bon Chon's first branch in Ayala Triangles and had a taste of their best sellers and get to experience the new chicken many are raving about even in the US.
