Araneta City uncorks wine appreciation with weekly Wine 101 at World Cellar

Wine drinking becomes more approachable with Wine 101, a weekly wine class offered by World Cellar at Level 4 of Gateway Mall 2 in Araneta City. It welcomes both wine enthusiasts and first-time drinkers in an engaging activity designed to invite curiosity and build interest around wine tasting.

Held every Friday starting April 10, Wine 101 offers guests a guided journey into the basics of wine tasting and wine drinking, demystifying what is often seen as an intimidating subject. The sessions are led by World Cellar’s in-house sommelier Benedict Tan, a Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 certified wine specialist. He walks participants through essential tasting techniques, flavor profiles, and practical tips on enjoying wine with confidence.

Each session runs from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and includes guided tastings in an intimate learning environment inside World Kitchens at Gateway Mall 2.
