Hidilyn Diaz inspires the nation anew with her very own Kwentong Jollibee “Ginto”

When weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz won the country’s first gold medal after a near century-long wait at the Olympics, Filipinos from all over the globe rejoiced and celebrated her historic triumph. Hidilyn’s winning lift, which also set a new Olympic record, was a result of years of hard work, resilience, and dedication that she put into reaching her dream.

And this inspiring journey of Hidilyn—with all the challenges she had to overcome—is at the center of the latest Kwentong Jollibee short film entitled “Ginto”. Jollibee, in collaboration with its partner agency McCann Worldgroup Philippines, hopes to share Hidilyn’s story to bring joy and inspiration to every Filipino.

More than just a jeepney: Rise Against Hunger PH rolls out mobile kitchen to feed families in NCR

A project by Rise Against Hunger Philippines (RAHP), the mobile kitchen jeepney has a fully-functioning kitchen working to feed 500 individuals everyday

International relief organization Rise Against Hunger Philippines launched a mobile kitchen jeepney in support of the private sector program, Kain Tayo Pilipinas, mobilizing added resources to alleviate hunger in the Philippines. 

Rise Against Hunger PH along with Kain Tayo Pilipinas come together and revolutionize how companies and organizations can provide support to communities in need by creating a model which they could easily replicate and sustain. As a step towards alleviating hunger and malnutrition, the mobile kitchen is equipped with a fully-functioning kitchen that is able to serve up to 6,000 meals a month. The mobile kitchen in the form of a jeepney features a modern version of the Filipino mythical bird Sarimanok, a design conceptualized by Architect Deo Alam where the beak of the bird translates to bringing food to the people.

Winning Entries of Ajinomoto’s first-ever 'Sustainabilidad Challenge'

Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) Group recently concluded it’s first-ever #AjinomotoSustainAbilidadChallenge, an initiative that enjoined Filipinos to share their do-it-yourself (DIY) sustainability projects.   The online challenge garnered a total of 243 entries.  Five Facebook and five Tiktok participants with the most creative application of the 3Rs of conservation—reduce, reuse, recycle— were hailed as winners. 

“Filipinos are resourceful and innovative.  This campaign proves just how invested we are when it comes to taking better care of our environment. We hope this campaign further inspires individuals to live a more sustainable lifestyle at home,” said Roann Co, Ajinomoto General Manager of Marketing and Public Relations.

Ginto: Jollibee and McCann Worldgroup Philippines release special Kwentong Jollibee on Hidilyn Diaz’s inspiring journey

Ginto showed how Hidilyn, despite the lockdown
 and being away from her family, persevered
 to reach her golden dream.

While the whole nation rejoiced and celebrated the historic feat of Hidilyn Diaz during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, not everyone knew of the hardships that she had to overcome to reach her dream of winning the country’s first Olympic Gold medal. The Manila Hotel reopens dining outlets

The Manila Hotel’s two restaurants, Lobby Lounge and the famed Café Ilang-Ilang, are now open to serve dine-in guests under Metro Manila’s current community quarantine restrictions. Safety First: Former crew members share how safety has always been a top priority at McDonald’s

In a recently released M Safe video, former store employees of the company talked about how being safe at McDonald’s makes them feel good.

Henric, a former crew at McDo Robinsons Novaliches shared how working at McDonald’s has taught him the value of safety early on. Years after and his own business later, he recalls and proudly attests as to how committed the company is on safety. 

Meanwhile, former crew members Arden and Khaycie also highlighted how safety was their first lesson as new employees, wherein stringent global safety protocols were taught. Today, with health and safety being of utmost concern for everyone, they are not worried whenever they visit or enjoy McDonald’s from the comfort of their homes, knowing they are safe.
