“For two years, we threaded thru the competition through virtual meetings and coordination. It was especially hard for us because before COVID, we experienced one of the greatest threats in our business,” said Prudencio S. Garcia, president of Mekeni. “We looked at 2020 as our renewal year, and although it did not go as planned, the last two years gave us valuable lessons for us to further realize our mission.”
Of course, because it’s been a limited release so far, fans from the other parts of the country have been asking and clamoring for their turn to enjoy the Chicken Sandwich. They want a taste too!
The whole Philippines can now rejoice—the Jollibee Chicken Sandwich is finally coming to more stores in the Philippines starting this month. It will be in more select Jollibee stores in provincial Luzon beginning April 19, and in stores in other regions, Visayas, and Mindanao starting May.
