Embrace change and find joy in uncertainties in Jollibee Studios’ “My Crush is A Cactus Killer”

It goes without saying that change is the only constant thing in life. There are times when it brings people to difficult situations they need to overcome, but there are also moments when it leads them to the answers of their greatest whys. Either way, adapting to change can be an uncomfortable process — but the beautiful, empowering love that we find in the midst of it all is what makes the experience worthwhile.

On February 28, the country’s most loved fast-food chain, Jollibee is back again with a trilogy that portrays a love that is worth persevering. My Crush is A Cactus Killer, produced by Jollibee Studios, is a three-part series that follows the story of two people who found a joyful connection that carried them through the toughest times in their lives.

Directed by acclaimed Filipino film director, Sigrid Bernardo, My Crush is A Cactus Killer features up-and-coming artists Gigi de Lana and Raphael Balaccua.

Burgers top foodpanda orders in ’21 as food options grow

Demand for quick commerce seen to continue growing in ‘22

Leading online food delivery provider foodpanda announced the most-ordered food items from its app in 2021, with hamburgers and other fast-food staples coming out on top. 

The results, taken from data on thousands of foodpanda partner vendors across 150 cities and municipalities in the country, reveal that the top three most ordered food items from foodpanda in 2021 were hamburgers, fried chicken and spaghetti, items found on the menus of many fast-food restaurants and mom-and-pop stores on foodpanda’s platform. 

According to the company, the results serve as an indicator of Filipinos’ increasingly fast-paced and home-based lifestyles during the new normal.

The newly released M Safe video, “We feel good when you feel safe at McDonald's” shows a couple making their way to a scenic McDonald’s restaurant. Upon reaching their destination, McDonald’s crew and managers are one step ahead in making sure minimum health standards are followed, allowing them to experience feel-good moments while feeling safe, as they snack on their favorite McDo meals.

Ajinomoto partners with Spectrum to introduce solar power energy in Bulacan factory

Group and Meralco-owned solar company Spectrum held a ceremonial contract signing event today, February 3, 2022, to develop and maintain a 1 Megawatt peak solar power generating facility. The initiative is part of the company’s efforts to reduce its Green House Gases (GHG) emissions by 50% in 2030, in pursuit of lessening its overall impact on the environment. 

The venture,  which is set to be launched by September 2022, aims to install 2,232 solar panel modules at Ajinomoto’s factory in Guiguinto, Bulacan to generate approximately 1,331,500 kilowatt-hours of energy per year that can offset around 865 MT equivalent carbon dioxide. This is equivalent to planting 1,950,523 trees or reducing 2,352,456 miles in vehicle travel per year.

Jollibee mascots transform into 'JolliBots' in new Jolly Kiddie Meal toys

This February, play times are made more exciting as Jollibee introduces the JolliBots—a new set of Jolly Kiddie Meal toys featuring Jollibee mascots in a robot-themed concept!

The latest toy lineup from the no. 1 fast-food chain allows kids to play with their favorite Jollibee mascots and have them transform into the products they represent.

Jolly kids and kids-at-heart can retract both arms of the Chickenjoy Bucket and flip its lid to reveal Jollibee. They can also move the upper corners of the Jolly Spaghetti box to see Hetty inside. Meanwhile, the fries from the robotized Jolly Crispy Fries box just need to be flipped so Popo can say hi! 

Fans of Twirlie can have an enjoyable time twisting and twirling a Chocolate Sundae Twirl robot cup. They can split the ice cream portion into half to reveal Twirlie, and rotate the arms to extend the toy figure. Lastly, jolly kids can let their imagination flow as they reveal the arms of the Yumburger figure, and flip the upper part to reveal Yum.
