Jollibee Group, DepEd to Co-Develop Senior High School QSR Curriculum and Work Immersion Program

The Jollibee Group has partnered with the Department of Education (DepEd) to co-develop a Senior High School (SHS) Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Tech Pro elective aligned with the Strengthened SHS Curriculum. The initiative was formally launched during the DepEd SHS QSR Curriculum and Work Immersion Workgroup Kickoff held on January 15, 2026, at Jollibee Plaza, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

Ajinomoto supports DepEd in its Learning Continuity Plan through the Prottie® SuperKID Campaign

The back-to-school campaign aims to initially empower 200,000 kids stay active while learning online

Ajinomoto, in partnership with DepEd, brings SuperKid closer to parents and their kids through the Prottie®#LAKASARAP at HOME. With this campaign, Ajinomoto was able to distribute Prottie® SuperKID Newsletters and products for 200,000 students in 200 schools across Metro Manila.

The prolonged quarantine brought new challenges for Filipinos. This is particularly true for parents, who now have to manage keeping their kids healthy and energetic while overseeing their learning in at-home, online classes.

Locally gives back to teachers on a fruit-ful World Teacher’s Day

Teachers play a very important role in the world. They have the ability to change lives for the better. The children of today are the leaders of tomorrow and teachers are critical in shaping today’s youth by inspiring them to go further and dream bigger.

Because it takes a whole lot of patience, courage, dedication to shape young minds, Locally partnered with the Department of Education (DepEd) for a deliciously fruity tribute for World Teacher’s Day last October 5. As an homage to their amazing work and tireless dedication, especially during the pandemic, more than a thousand teachers received a set of Locally Dalandan and Guava juices as delightful refreshments to help boost their immunity.

The schools who received the Locally gift sets include Pasay City West High School, St Mary’s Academy, Quezon City Polytechnic University, Manuel A. Roxas High School, Lakandula High School, St. Joseph School, Ramon Magsaysay, Jose Abad Santos High School, Parang High School, Nagpayong High School, Signal Village High School, Caloocan High School, Regina Coeli Education Foundation, Muntinlupa Science High School, Diliman Preparatory School, Araullo High School, St Anthony School, Philippine School for the Deaf, Muntinlupa High School, Pasay City East High School, as well as the City Schools Division of Pasay, Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan, Pasig, Las Pinas, and Marikina.

REBISCO aids DepEd on continued learning during the pandemic

Keeping the Filipino bayanihan spirit alive, the Republic Biscuit Corporation (REBISCO) recently launched new programs to aid the continued education of school children during the pandemic. As the Department of Education (DepEd) pushes for online learning at home to curb the spread of the virus, REBISCO has come up with a series of learning materials in various formats that both educators and students can use.
