Along with Christmas, one of the thing we are pretty excited about is the upcoming DC movie Aquaman which will be shown in the Philippines starting December 12. This is also a great opportunity to the official DC themed restaurant in the Philippines, DC Super Heroes Cafe PH in Megamall to ride the waves of the King of Atlantis.
They launched a new menu inspired by the gifts of the sea with the Atlantic Feast. Specifically made with fresh ingredients and a one-of-a-kind dishes that will will be enjoyed by fans and foodies alike.
Atlantic Feast
The special Aquaman-inspired menu drew inspiration from the characters like Aquaman (Arthur Curry), Mera, and Black Manta. First they have the Seafood Rolls which comes in single or trio options. Flavors include Gralic Shrimp, Crab Roll and Oyster Curry.
They also have Fish and Chips - crispy deep fried beer-battered sole fillet, served with homemade potato chips and tartar sauce. Another similar dish Frito Misto - Seafood fried platter consisting of oysters, dory, shrimp, rangoons, and baby squid.
Beverages are also available like:
- King of Atlantis - A smooth blend of mangoes, ginger peach, green apples and secret herbs with colors inspired by Aquaman's original costume.
- Mera Con Hielo - Named after Mera and based on the Filipino dessert Mais Con Hielo made from pandan shake, mixed with fresh corn, frosted cereal, and Horlicks malt powder.
- Deep Sea Hunter - a mix of blue berries, grapes and pineapples topped with with black jelly embodies the vibe of Black Manta.
Partnership with Toy Kingdom
DC Cafe has partnered up with Toy Kingdom and has released limited edition discount cards for every 1000 peso purchase at Toy Kingdom, the card will entitle the bearer 100 pesos off their total bill.
DC Cafe Aquaman Gift Coupons
DC Cafe has release a set of Gift Coupons that’s purchaseable instore, these come in P500 and P1000 denominations.
Partnership with SM Cinemas
SM Cinemas has alloted an IMAX Theater for the block screening of Aquaman, only those with the block screening tickets would be able to enter, we have included one ticket in the loot bags we gave.
SM Cinemas has also tied up with DC Cafe to discount 10% off their bill at the Café when they present their purchased Aquaman Ticket. On the other hand, SM Cinemas will also discount 10% off the Aquaman Tickets when they present a receipt from DC Café.
Partnership with 94.7
94.7 Has partnered with DC Café and will boost the café and the Aquaman movie simultaneously at their station. They will also be giving out tickets for the block screening as prizes for the next 3 weeks.
DC Cafe limited edition merch
DC Cafe has created a chibi line of shirts with very limited stock, sizes vary from small to XL. Each shirt would cost 599 pesos.
