One of Aiai Delas Alas food venture along with his son Sancho is the Asian Cuisine Restuarant, Ai Sarap Express which is located in Ignacia Place (Mother Ignacia corner St. Esguerra st.). And this has provided a quick fix for Chinese food craving within the area. And this has been the event venue of several presscons and launches. It also comes in good timing as Aiai recently won Best Actress in the recent Cinemalaya for School Service.
Now Aiai reveals that they have re-branded the name now to CHANG AI EXPRESS. The change was due to confusion with a similar sounding restaurant which sometimes confuses some customers, also they have launched new menu items along with their best sellers. Everything remained the same except for name and some new dishes on the menu.
For their Appetizers and Dim sums they have Lumpiang Chang Ai, Chicken Feet, Meat Ball (4 pcs.), Siomai, and Siopao (2 pcs.). Available ala carte are Sweet and Sour Pork, Fish and Tofu, Honey Soy Glaze Chicken, Beef and Brocolli, Orange Chicken, Chang Ai Fried Chicken, Mandarin Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, Chang Ai Fried Rice, and Chow Mien.
They also offer vegetable meals like Bokchoy with Oyster Sauce, Kangkong with Garlic, and Cauliflower and Green Beans. For meat eaters, you can try the Chang Ai Sizzlers Sizzling Pork Sisig, and Pork Liempo. They also have Combo meals which are available from 11AM to 3PM only. You can choose from SET A: 1 pc Chiang Ai Fried Chicken, 3 pcs Siomai, Steam Rice, and Iced Tea for P165; and SET B: 1 pc Fried Chicken or Sisig, 5 pcs Siomai, Steamed Rice Or Noodles, and Iced Tea.
You can cap off your dine in with their desserts like Mango Sago Medley, Creamy Almond Lychee, and Cofee Jelly. Recently they also opened delivery via Food Panda which gives more convenience to their customers who cannot drop by the restaurant.
Aiai is very happy and thankful with the change as she is also helped by his son Sancho Vito and Chef Ren Tuico with the new menu. They will also look into the possibility of franchise in the future. For now, they feel lucky and blessed with changes that come along success in their lives.
