Jollibee Studios proves that true love is one that transcends romance in new John Lloyd-Bea film

Many people are looking for the one and a love that lasts and while many have been fortunate to find it and keep it, many are still searching for that person, or what the one means to them. In Jollibee Studios’ newest 30-minute film, it discusses what makes a love that lasts in a poignant and heart-tugging story that brings together the country’s most iconic love team, John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.

The pair’s much awaited on-screen reunion definitely brought a lot of excitement among long-time fans. The anticipation and joy from the public was truly felt back in October when leaked photos from their shoot came out. When it was revealed that it was for a Jollibee project, this excited people further, as Jollibee has been known to produce memorable short films that never fails to bring joy and touch one’s heart.

Going Green and Good: McDonald’s opens newest sustainable store

In time for Environmental Awareness Month, McDonald’s Philippines reinforces its commitment towards using environment-conscious and climate-friendly restaurant solutions as it opens its newest Green & Good store in Shaw Boulevard Wack Wack, Mandaluyong City. McDonald’s Green & Good stores allows the QSR giant to test and learn sustainable practices with its green building construction and utility efficient solutions. The first Green & Good store was launched in UN Del Pilar Avenue in Manila City in April 2021.

The Green & Good store in Shaw Boulevard Wack Wack is the first McDonald’s store in the country to adapt a modular system with its prefabricated prefinished building construction. Compared to a traditional brick-and-block approach, each module is produced off-site and installed together with other modules on-site. This enables faster work in a controlled environment and promotes sustainability through reduced waste and impact of on-site construction activities.

She even had to create makeshift weights using concrete and mag wheels when she was just starting out. After four Olympic stints in a span of 12 years, including a DNF (Did Not Finish) in the London edition of the Games, she finally had her golden moment at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. But even then, the road wasn’t easy—due to the pandemic, she had to train in Malaysia away from her family and she once again had to use makeshift weights in an outdoor gym.
