FOOD STOPS: Old Vine Grille

Under the chain of fine dinning restaurants like Uncle Cheffy's, Chef's Quartier and many more, Old Vine Grille is another one of a kind restaurant with a ambiance and food both amazing yet at a reasonable price. Located at Eastwood Mall, the reatuarant looks like a wide wine cellar with vines crawling gving it a feel of a country dinning.

On their menu are very interesting finds like the Tessie Tomas Salad- Combination of roated prawns, marinated salmon, and roasted shiitake mushrooms with mesclun salad in a creamy Balsamic dressing. The unique combination and the catchy name is a good choice for having greens and seafood.

Pan Fried Foie Gras Salad-in raspberry honey sauce and apple ragout. For those which loves more leaves and indeed the heathiest choice.
Steak and Escargot- US top blade steak seasoned with Cajon spices, topped with escargot bourguignon with au jus and potatoes. A contenter for our highly recommended for its presentation and of course the great taste of

Stake and Shrimp-blackened steak top blade shirmp barbecue

Mango Shake, as a mango lover this is the drink of my choice

Baby back ribs American Favorite Barbecue-served with potatoes and baked beans

Stake Tagalog-pan seared US beef slices in soy calamansi and onion sauce with potatoes and aubergine

Lamb shank Pinot Noir- marinated in red wine, grilled and braised, served with mashed potatoes, roasted shallots and garlic

Baked Cream Dory- with mushroom duxelles in tomato garlic coulis and angel hair pesto.

Old Vine Pasta- Futtucine tossed in mild spicy vegetable pangritata with prawns.

Beef Salpicao fried rice is no ordinary fried rice, its a great mix of salpicao making it a 2 in 1 meal.

Stir Fried Seafood Paella, a platter of seafood goodness and rice

Belgan Chocolate Fondue, is a great way to end dinner with mallows and fruits. yum!

Ube Cheesecake Burlee,  a great combination with the fondue.

Banana-Langka Crepe Samurai, this is not deadly but it slices well into our dessert favorites complementing with other desserts.

Larry and Mau Steak and Barbecue creations which is concoted by the owners Mr. Larry Cortez and executive chef Mauro Arjona Jr. These are combinations that they both enjoy and which they feel will also be enjoyed by others. You can dine at a leisurely pace because the tea light keeps the stakes from being cold. The Old Vine Grille opened in eastwood on Febuary 2009. The second batch opened on November 2009.
Of course let us not forget our HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for this stop. Among the so many choices we had which made us really full that night, It was a challenge to deliberate our choice. But the one that stood out among the rest is the Baby back ribs American Favorite Barbecue, which makes the restaurant a great steakhouse and grill. Even not hurrying to eat, they are kept warm by the candle below them thus preserving its flavor.

Why you should go dine at Old Vine Grille? It's value-for-money dinning. You get excellent ambiance, efficient service, great stakes at very afforable price.
