Have you ever experienced a Boodle Fight? You know, that large group meal over a banana leaf where rice, meat, vegetable, fish, and even dessert is shared by families, friends and even in fiestas. But having that is quite rare now in the city with almost no one offering this type of food trip.
But you don't need to worry nor you have to go far just to experience this with your friends or family. Because there is Dario's Grill with one branch located in Maceda st., Sampaloc, Manila. This business was made by Dario Lorenzo and his wife who loves cooking and eating out. After doing several jobs and being an OFW, he finally decided to set up a food business of his own. But since there were a lot of choices in terms of what to start, they eventually went with an unusual alternative, boodle fight.
The boodle fight meal is perfect for small or big groups that wants to make the most of bonding and a generous serving all in a communal setting. They have a wide array of choices in terms of the food combinations that customers can choose.
The boodle fight is also perfect in celebrating occasions such as birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, or just anything that is worth celebrating that also have a huge appetite. There are choices like pork, seafood, and some side dish like their best dish dinakdakan.
Of course when we say boodle fight means you eat with your hands. And they have the necessary handwashing station and gloves that make sure you will use your hands with every bite. There is also parking available in front of the store.
Another interesting story when it was recently renovated due to a fire last year, however this did not let their spirits down in re-opening it once again for their customers. People have been traveling far just to have their boodle fight experience. It has also been featured in several TV shows for their story and the food.

They also have solo meals for those who are eating solo, and they also serve hazelnut coffee which is perfect to cap off the heavy and hearty meal.
The branch in Maceda can accommodate around 15-20. And hopefully they will have deliveries open so you can have a boodle fight at home.
