FOOD STOPS: King Bee Chinese Restuarant

Almost of us might have a percentage of Chinese blood in us, with our culture greatly rooted with the Chinese and the culture most especially the cuisine that has been there for centuries. Chinese is not new to us, but what makes restaurants stand out would be the menu, the feel and even the authentic Chinese food culture that has been a tradition for them.

We got to dine at King Bee Chinese Restaurant in Commonwealth Avenue which is the newest and biggest branch of the brand. By the way, King Bee seems like honey plantation or a rival to the happy bee fast food, but it does not. King Bee Chinese Restaurant  serves authentic Chinese Cuisine originated in Brgy. Manggahan, General Trias, province of Cavite on August 17, 2001. The King Bee name of the restaurant came from the owner Mrs. Ang Ong King Bee.  A family business that have grown and been known in the province of Cavite.

The restaurant has a wide array of various Chinese recipes such as dimsums, roast specialties, noodles soup and other main courses cooked in authentic way. The company has hired the expertise of International Chefs from Hong Kong who personally prepare the menu and manage the kitchen. The operation is being managed by best experienced professionals in the field of food services.

The company never gets startled among competitors but still can manage to establish the edge among existing food businesses.  This is through efforts of maintaining high-quality products and services that have created a remarkable patronage for the company. As time goes by, King Bee not only caters for walk-in clients but it also reaches at the door steps of each residence near the vicinity who wished to have food products by delivery. The company wants everyone to experience the delightful treat of Chinese Food Cuisines, and at the same time to satisfy the needs of the clients. King Bee also accommodates off-premise catering services in order to be more accessible to those clients who may find hard time of reaching the location.

The King Bee Chinese Restaurant served the following dishes during the Bloggers' Food Tasting Event held at the King Bee Chinese Restaurant Commonwealth. I learned that their style of serving is Lauriat which means it is placed one by one and the rice would come in the middle or last rather than the first one.  Here is the list of the menu we shared on that night.

Winter Melon Soup -yes, it not exclusive to milk tea but also serves as a great soup pot!
Dimsum Platter - a combination of chicken feet, shomai, and bird's eye dimsum. I liked the chicken feet as it id very rich and flavors and no worries of the bones which slides off easily
House Specialty Roast Chicken (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) - when I tried this,  I knew this stands out. Among the similar dish, it stood out with the richness of flavor and firm meat. Even without sauce, it stands out.
Sliced Beef with Broccoli Flower - I commend the beef tenderness, however have this common taste
Sauteed Crystal Prawn Balls with Cashew Nuts in Taro Nest - which I dubbed as "bird's nest" stadium for the Olympics, its amazing how to make a taro ball, which was really crunchy!
King Fish in Thai Sauce -One of the contenders for highly recommended because of the combination of crisp and sweet (mango shreds) that enhances it flavor.
Yang Chow Fried Rice - I enjoyed this very flavor full rice mix that led me to have 2 more refills
Chinese Pastries (Official Name is not yet finalized) - though we can call are "desserts x and y" are very unique especially with the soft bun with mango fillings!
Mixed Fruits Platter- artistically made with an array of fruits and would be mistaken for a wedding cake.
